What age should I bring my child in for an orthodontic consultation?
It’s best for children to come for their first orthodontic consultation around the age of eight. At this age, Dr Crotty will be able to predict how your child’s smile will grow, and get ahead of any orthodontic issues that might arise.
Catching orthodontic issues early on can save a lot of time and money on lengthy orthodontic treatment in your child’s teenage years. While your child may not need to start treatment at the age of eight, we can closely monitor their smile and intervene at the opportune time.
