What are fixed braces?
Fixed braces use a system of metal brackets, metal wires and small elastics to apply targeted pressure that aligns your smile. A metal bracket will be fixed to the front of each tooth, with the metal archwire running through them. The elastics hold all the pieces in place.
To progress through treatment, you will come to our clinic for regular adjustment appointments where Dr Crotty will place bends in your archwire using advanced AI technology for precision to guide your teeth into the proper positions.
