What is Dental Monitoring?

Dental Monitoring is a revolutionary smartphone app that allows Dr Crotty to monitor your aligner treatment progress remotely. Instead of visiting our practice for frequent appointments, we’ll just ask you to send us weekly smile selfies through the app.

As long as your treatment is going according to plan, we won’t need to see you in person. You can simply carry on with your day! In fact, if your teeth are moving more quickly than expected, we can even switch you to a new set of aligners - speeding up your treatment time.

How does Dental Monitoring work?

If you choose to sign up for aligner treatment with us, we can pair your treatment with the Dental Monitoring app. This allows us to view the weekly smile selfies you send and match them up against the projected treatment progress created by our iTero Scanner.

We’ll only ask to see you at our practice if we need to adjust your treatment plan. While it might seem like this would hinder communication, you actually have even MORE access to our team through the app. That’s because our expertise is always just a click away.
