Accessing top quality service and world-class orthodontic treatment doesn’t mean you need to break the bank. At Crotty Orthodontics we are committed to providing affordable treatment to all our patients, and will work within your budget to find a solution for your smile.
While treatment can start anywhere from €500, every smile is unique and we won’t know the exact cost of your treatment until your first consultation with Dr Crotty. At your consultation, we will give you a custom treatment plan and quote with no hidden fees.
We have a number of flexible finance plans and discounts to help make treatment more affordable. These include:
Please note that only one discount type will be accepted (for example, a paid-in-full discount cannot be used alongside a sibling discount).
For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, cheque and most cards.
For interest free options, an initial deposit is paid prior to the braces being ordered and the balance is paid in equal monthly instalments over 12 months.
If the payment regime presents financial difficulties, we recommend contacting us before payment becomes overdue. We may be able to restructure your payment to suit, provided at all times the balance is paid in full before treatment ends.
After your free consultation with Crotty Orthodontics, you will need to attend a records appointment with Dr Crotty. If you put down a deposit of €995 towards treatment, your records appointment is free. Otherwise, it will cost €225.
This €225 fee includes the consultation, any x-rays, 3D digital scan and clinical photographs needed, and the development of your detailed custom treatment plan by Dr Crotty.
Every patient at our practice gets a custom quote on treatment. This quote contains no hidden costs and includes:

We also reserve the right to charge additional fees for missed appointments, overdue payments or prolonged treatment due to disregard of our instructions (such as elastics not being worn as directed).
If you are a resident of Ireland for tax purposes, you may be eligible for tax relief. Speak to our team about the options available for you, or download the Med 2 claim here.
We are very pleased to offer full treatment finance through the Douglas Credit Union. This gives our patients a greater choice of payment options depending on how much down-payment is made, how much is borrowed and what term the loan is taken over.
