Dr. Ciara Ennis
Accredited Specialist in Orthodontics
Dr. Ciara Ennis earned her dental degree (BDS Hons) in 2013 and her doctorate degree in orthodontics (DClinDent) in 2018 from University College Cork and also obtained her membership in orthodontics (MOrth) in 2018 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. After her specialty studies, she completed 2 years in a mixed NHS/Private practice in Surrey before moving into private practice. After a number of years in London she is now moving home to Ireland to join Crotty Orthodontics.
Ciara is committed to providing the highest quality patient care, reflected in her awards in 2023 including highly commended ‘Best Young Orthodontist’ in the UK and in the UK ‘Clinical Case awards’, she was also highly recommended for her adult fixed case. She recently presented at the ‘Delivering Excellence in Orthodontics’ Conference hosted by Ormco alongside Dr. David Birnie and has previously presented at the Irish Orthodontic Conference, where she also received the ‘Seamus Keating’ award for her orthodontic research.
Her clinical interests include clear aligners, multidisciplinary cases, TADs, pre-adjusted edgewise appliances, self-ligating brackets and technological advances in orthodontics.
Ciara finds that the most rewarding aspect of orthodontics is the transformation of patients’ smiles and the impact that this has on their confidence. She provides a wide range of treatments, which can be tailored to your individual needs. Ciara is extremely excited to be joining Crotty Orthodontics and continuing her passion in striving for the best outcomes for her patients.
